There are too many variables in the art of taxidermy to guarantee any specific delivery date. You will however be given a place holder number at the time you drop off your animal. You can check to see which number series is currently being worked on (i.e. 40 - 49) to help you plan and prepare for pick up or delivery.

At Mackey Creek Taxidermy, our specialty is whitetail deer. We also mount elk, mule deer, bear, bobcat, coyote, ducks, and geese. Please give us a call if you have any questions.

A European mount is the whitened skull with antlers or horns of the animal. A full body or life size mount is a complete representation of the animal, including the head, body, and limbs. A shoulder mount includes the head, neck, and shoulders. Pedestals are either freestanding on the floor or are mounted to a wall.

Yes, Mackey Creek Taxidermy can create custom dioramas to enhance the presentation of your mount. We can incorporate natural habitats, artificial foliage, and other elements to create a realistic and immersive display. We create wall mounts, floor pedestals, wall pedestals, and custom bases.

Yes, Mackey Creek Taxidermy will skin your animal if needed.  There is no extra charge for skinning if we create your mount. When in doubt, just give us a call.
